....honestly i would have started to fire off the mg 42 instead of the mp 40......lots more fire power and better for getting fire supremaci (putting more led into the air than the enemy can return)

You do have a point. And i noticed that too while I was going through the pictures. But I think the best answer would be that he could have been out of ammo for that weapon.

eh yea that is a possibility because that dose burn through ammunition quite quickly....either way there is the possibility of a lucky shot or a sniper removing his helmet along with most of his head..
